In a Plenary Cabinet Session held at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) asked that PT Lapindo Minarak Jaya to immediately pay off the debt to the victims of the mud nationals Lapindo worth USD 800 billion.
Responding to it, the Chairman of the Golkar Faction, Setya Novanto said not looking at YUDHOYONO's statement about the attack against Lapindo as General Chairman of the Golkar party, Aburizal Bakrie, also a presidential candidate.
Novanto holds debt payment to the affair of the victim is fully the responsibility of Lapindo mud company Bakrie. However, he believes the PT Minarak will soon be complete.
